Iganga, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | The Alliance for National Transformation-ANT flag bearer in the Kigulu South Parliamentary race, Ali Muyinda, has been cleared to contest after his academic documents were verified by the Uganda National Examinations Board- UNEB.

Ataho stresses that Muyinda held a meeting with the electoral commission officials on 19th, October who cleared him to verify his academic documents with UNEB and in turn process his nomination within 14 days.
On Monday, he was nominated by the Electoral Commission. Muyinda says that, if elected, he will offer an effective representation of all people irrespective of their social, religious and political affiliations.
Muyinda joins a list of 13 others who will contest for the parliamentary seat.
