Lawyer Opiyo granted bail finally

Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Human rights lawyer Nicholas Opiyo has been granted cash bail of sh15m by the High Court.

“However serious a charge is, it all but remains an allegation. Courts are expected not to deny bail as a punishment,” ruled Lady Justice Jane Okuo Kajuga.
