Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | National Unity Platform (NUP) party members, Eddie Mutwe and Nubian Li have been released on bail by the General court martial.
Ali Bukeni aka Nubian Li is Robert Kaygulanyi’s singing partner, while Eddy Ssebufu aka Eddie Mutwe is the head of his personal bodyguards. They were arrested in Kalangala last year at the height of the Presidential campaigns, and face arms related charges in the military court.
UPDATE: NUP’s Eddie Mutwe, Nubian Li and others who were arrested in Kalangala at the end of last year have been granted a non cash bail of UGX 20M each.
