Nairobi, Kenya | THE INDEPENDENT | Two goals each from lead striker Juliet Nalukenge and Sumaya Komuntale gave Uganda’s Under 20 women’s team a resounding 7-2 victory over hosts Kenya at Nyayo stadium, Nairobi on Saturday afternoon.

Other goals came from Margret Kunihira, captain Fauzia Najjemba and Shamira Nalugya in the first leg of the first round of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup 2022 Qualifiers.

The second leg will be played on 8th October in Kampala and the winner will face either South Africa or Mozambique.
