Job Summary:
Media Challenge Initiative (MCI) is excited to announce that it has acquired an SDG Media Studio Van to further our mission of using Media for development and to spread awareness about Sustainable Development goals. With the SDG Mobile Studio Van, MCI will conduct educational campaigns about the SDGs in schools, colleges, and communities, hold interactive sessions on topics related to the SDGs while engaging local communities, government officials, and other stakeholders and also showcase Success Stories related to the SDGs. As such, we are looking for a professional and experienced driver to join our team as the driver for the van.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely and responsibly operate the SDG Van, adhering to traffic rules and regulations at all times.
• Transport MCI team equipment, and materials to designated SDG awareness outreach venues.
• Assist with loading and unloading training equipment, where necessary ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the Van is in optimal working condition.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the MCI SDG Media Van, both internally and externally.
• Cooperate with trainers and Production team to ensure smooth running of business.
Qualifications Of The Successful Candidate
• Education: Secondary Education. Valid Driver’s license – DM;
• Experience: 5 years’ work experience as a driver; safe driving record; knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor vehicle repair. Work experience with the a reputable NGO is desirable.
• Language Requirements: Able to Communicate in English. Candidates who are able to communicate in several languages are preferred.

Combined Scoring Method
The candidates will be evaluated based on a Combined Scoring Method, where the qualifications and methodology will be weighted a max. of 70% and combined with the price offer which will be weighted a max of 30%. Note: Only candidates obtaining minimum 49 points or 70% of the technical criteria will be considered for financial evaluation.
