He/She will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall appearance of the public areas within the hotel. This role ensures that guests experience a clean, organized, and inviting atmosphere from the moment they enter the hotel premises
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and lead a team assigned to public area cleaning and maintenance. 2. Maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards in all public spaces, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, lounges, restrooms, and more.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments to address guest needs, event setups, and any special requirements related to public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs, promptly addressing issues to maintain a pristine appearance
Skills
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
• Diploma or its equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of work experience as a Public Area Supervisor or Public Area Attendant
